Safety Space is a self-defence service run by Sensei Buster Collins. His aim is to use his martial arts knowledge and skills to help people defend themselves on the streets. They wanted to create a brand which at a glance showcased strength and safety.

We looked at: Brand identity, Illustration, Animation, Stationery, Social Media, Content Creation

The identity is inspired by the fluid motion of both martial arts moves and the flow of a Japanese brush, both of which require patience, practice and dedication to perfect. The shield shape and brush texture flow through the brand assets, paired with calming textures and colours to create the feeling of a safe space for the students.
